Madison McDonald, PharmD

Madison McDonald, PharmD, is originally from Geneseo, Illinois. She completed her Doctor of Pharmacy at Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana. Madison was drawn to the PGY1 community residency programs through the University of Iowa after learning about the many innovative practice opportunities the pharmacies offer to best serve their patients. These patient care opportunities also tie into Madison’s interest in public health. Madison is eager to learn more about independent pharmacy and to learn from various pharmacy leaders through Greenwood Pharmacy and the University of Iowa. Her professional interests and passions include public health, rural access to health care, and chronic care management. She is looking forward to increasing her knowledge and assisting with the growth of community pharmacy practice, as well as the opportunity to educate current pharmacy students.
