Residency

The Post Graduate Year 1 (PGY1) Residency Program at Greenwood Pharmacy is affiliated with the University of Iowa. The University of Iowa program, established in 1997, is the longest running ASHP/APhA accredited residency program in the nation. Upon completion of the program, a pharmacist will have the skills, experience, and confidence to lead an enhanced services pharmacy practice. The resident will sharpen their patient care and pharmacotherapy skills while providing Chronic Care Management, Immunizations, Medication Therapy Management, Injectable Medications, Transitional Care Management, Enhanced Medication Safety Evaluation, Practice Management, and Community Outreach Opportunities.

Meet our Resident

Maya Boguslawski, PharmD

Maya Boguslawski, PharmD, is originally from Lakeville, Minnesota. She completed her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of Wisconsin - Madison School of Pharmacy in Madison, Wisconsin. Maya pursued a PGY1 community-based residency with the University of Iowa because of its extensive history and constant commitment to advancing the pharmacy profession. She was drawn to Greenwood Pharmacy because of the new, innovative services offered at the pharmacy, and its passion for serving the community. Maya’s professional interests include behavioral health, migraine management, and veterinary pharmacy. She is looking forward to building long-term relationships with patients and learning how to implement new services in the pharmacy. Maya enjoys relaxing at home with her two cats, doing DIY projects, playing trombone, shopping, and eating spicy food in her spare time.
